Gilliland, Annie: - Annie Gilliland is now, and always has been, an artist. Her favorite art medium is oil painting, but she enjoys drawing with pencil, charcoal, pastels, and watercolor. This is the first children's book she has illustrated, and she has enjoyed the process of making the characters come to life. Reading with her seven grandchildren is one of the greatest joys in her life. She hopes you and your little ones enjoy the journey of these seven unlikely friends.

Kaufman, Marcia: - Dr. Marcia Kaufman, PhD, is a retired clinical psychologist who has also worked as a registered nurse, special education teacher, and school psychologist. She currently volunteers her time as a meditation and yoga instructor. Dr. Kaufman strives to continually grow and learn, and writing children's books is her new adventure. When she is not volunteering or writing, she can be found walking her Goldendoodle, biking, hiking, singing, reading, or playing pickleball. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and spouses, and their beautifully unique and colorful grandchildren.
