He has worked as Senior Manager in Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) and was associated with computer applications in Bhilai Steel Plant.

He is also a consultant technologist and a writer. This book heavily draws upon his experience as a trainer and as a technologist. At present, he is faculty at Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Kohka, Bhilai.
