His background helped him pursue several sales positions in the second half of his career, dealing with high-performance computing and scientific visualization. His last ten years were focused on creating a market with many medical schools in the U.S. and throughout the world with the \u003cstrong\u003eVisible Human Dissector\u003c\/strong\u003e. The Dissector was the effort between the \u003cstrong\u003eNIH\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eTouch of Life Technologies \u003c\/strong\u003eto produce a superior teaching tool for human anatomy.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTom uses his time to continue writing poems, a number of which are included in his recently published book, \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"A Doorway to Memories.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe and his wife Linda had a wonderful 58 year marriage until her death in April, 2025.
