influenced by his mentor, Amin Ahsan Islahi, a leading disciple of the

renowned scholar Hamiduddin Farahi. Over the years, Ghamidi has

scholarship with a focus on contemporary relevance.

Ghamidi is the founder of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences, an

organization dedicated to the research, education, and dissemination of

Islamic knowledge. He is currently Principal Research Fellow and Chief

Patron at the Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning in the United States. His

seminal work, Meezan, provides a comprehensive analysis of Islamic

beliefs, practices, and ethics, embodying his commitment to clarity,

intellectual rigor, and rational inquiry. This and other works have

established him as a respected authority in the Islamic world.

In addition to Meezan, Ghamidi has authored numerous books and articles

on various facets of Islam, including Islam: A Concise Introduction, a

simplified summary of Meezan. His contributions extend beyond academia,

with frequent media appearances and active engagement in public

discourse, making him a significant voice in contemporary Islamic thought.
