It is in this context that we conducted this study, aimed at examining the practice of minimal counseling by doctors in training. A total of 301 medical residents were included in our d'�tude. The smoking rate was 51.5%. Among the participants, 271 doctors indicated that they were familiar with minimal advice, and more than half felt that it was effective.
