It's the same profound question that Hernando Pizarro found himself facing. He wanted to serve the Lord but struggled with how to do that beyond Sunday church activities. After all, Christianity is not just a Sunday thing meant only for those within the four walls of the church. That's when he discovered that his regular full-time job was the ministry that the Lord had placed before him.

In this book, Hernando describes how having a new belief that God can use people right where they are at, and that impactful ministry can happen from within the workplace, affected him. He shares how he was motivated to launch out into a "cubicle ministry." The account describes personal experiences that he saw bear fruit along with real-life practical ideas that others can consider to make inroads into the lives of co-workers, even the hostile ones.

In essence, this book is for every person that wants to reach their co-workers for Christ, be they call center operators, janitors, sports reporters, mechanics, accountants, real estate agents, firefighters, cashiers, professional athletes, teachers etc.

Hernando Pizarro is an average Joe, a brother who listens, prays, and discusses the truth... even at work. He uses everyday activities as opportunities to be a beacon for people around him in the workplace. There is no flashy charisma or fancy preaching. On the contrary, there is plenty of everyday activities punctuated by triumphs, failures, and breakthroughs from darkness.

Hernando became a Christian in 1984 and has been serving in ministry ever since in some way, shape, or form - although not as you might expect. He was only "credentialed" for a few years. The rest of his years have been spent in one-on-one ministry with everyday people in ordinary locations such as the workplace, hobby clubs, sports groups, the grocery store, and other assorted places that the average person might spend time.

Hernando also considers himself a "Car Nut." He has followed the auto industry closely since his youth and consequently has amassed a lot of trivial automotive knowledge. You can find hundreds of his automotive articles published through different media outlets under the pen name, HJ Pizarro.
