The experiment was conducted in the pot house of the Department of *Plant Pathology*, *Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology*, *Kanpur*, using a *Randomized Block Design* with three replications and thirteen treatments. The study included isolation, purification, identification and pathogenicity testing of the pathogen, evaluation of integrated disease management practices, assessment of the soil-colonizing ability of *Trichoderma viride*, and examination of the influence of different pH and temperature levels on pathogen growth and sporulation. Biological agents, plant extracts and chemical treatments were applied through seed and soil treatments.
