The methodological approach is based on a computable general equilibrium model (CGEM), enabling analysis of the macro and microeconomic effects of trade reforms. The results show a decline in government customs and tax revenues, despite an increase in exports, particularly for products excluded from liberalization. Lower tariffs make non-sensitive foreign products more attractive, which affects public savings. Production growth is correlated with export growth.
