My fantasy ran high and wrote and orchestral work called \u003cem\u003eWedding Song\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eDance Song\u003c\/em\u003e, which was subsequently changed to \u003cem\u003eKamarinskaya\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eEven though the work was ultimately titled after the dancing tune, it actually begins with the wedding song \u003cem\u003eIz-za Gor, Gor Vysokiikh (From beyond the Mountain, the High Mountain)\u003c\/em\u003e. The \u003cem\u003eKamarinskaya\u003c\/em\u003e dancing song, a type of dancing tune known as \u003cem\u003enaigrysh\u003c\/em\u003e which features a melody repeated over a drone until the dancers exhaust themselves, does not appear until measure 53. Despite the late introduction, the dancing tune is repeated no less than 72 times.
