My Lovely Christine has been the source, path, and destination of my entire life, writing included. (I very much want to acknowledge the late, great Richard Fox, friend and brother extraordinaire, for making that book possible). \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eMy students and our experiences together in and out of the classroom largely created my second book of poems, \u003ci\u003eRealm of Blessing\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ci\u003eArt of Enlightenment \u003c\/i\u003eis rooted in the process of my parents' passing, and my process in response. \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eThen came the magic! \u003ci\u003eLittle Ghosts on Castle Floors \u003c\/i\u003eis subtitled \u003ci\u003ePoems Informed by the Potterverse\u003c\/i\u003e - a symbology and archetypeture increasingly essential to my understanding of and interaction with the world. More poetic exploration of this to come! (Gratitude to the students and TA's of my Harry-Potter-themed classes). \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e2023 saw both a chapbook, \u003ci\u003eHow Air Is\u003c\/i\u003e and the full-length \u003ci\u003eWhat Your Jewish Friends Are Thinking, \u003c\/i\u003eexploring the precious roots and ever unfurlings of life. Communities of faith and friendship deserve much of the credit for these volumes. \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eAnd this year saw a \u003ci\u003ePoetry Mage\u003c\/i\u003e join forces with a Metaphysical Fox, the first of hopefully many such magical collaborations! \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eIt would be the height of ingratitude to leave unacknowledged here the contributions of Bill Milhomme, Deborah Leipziger, William Kerin Rizos, Carolyn Martin, Sara Letourneau, and the poets of Pour Me a Poem, Mansfield, MA.
