It has been observed that the norms of Standard English have been badly violated. This analysis draws its resource from social media sites such as tweets on Twitter, status updates on FaceBook, chats on WhatsApp and text messages. These samples were analyzed based on abbreviations, shortening acronyms, initialism, contractions, clipping, letter\/number homophones, and non-conventional spellings.
