Despite global progress, vaccination coverage remains insufficient in Chad, exposing many unvaccinated or under-vaccinated children to persistent epidemics such as measles. The Kyab� health district illustrates this situation with performance levels below the national average. This study analyzed the determinants of low childhood vaccination coverage and proposed strategies adapted to the local context. A descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in 2024 combined a survey of 15 health centers with the analysis of routine vaccination data. The results show partial implementation of outreach strategies, access difficulties in remote areas, and a high dropout rate for the pentavalent vaccine between the first and third doses.
