We conducted this study on 14 children attending the Regional Rehabilitation Unit to investigate the effect of screens and television programmes on children during the first few months of life. We began by diagnosing suspected cases of autism using the CARS assessment scale, checking whether the autistic children had been exposed to television at an early age, and then reassessing the children's condition after banning all screen exposure.
