They were scattered\u003cbr\u003e here, there, and everywhere, either in a computer file (under\u003cbr\u003e who knows what name) or on a scrap of paper thrown\u003cbr\u003e in an old file folder.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e For years my son, Mark, has encouraged me to\u003cbr\u003e get all my \"stuff\" together and publish a book so that he or\u003cbr\u003e other members of our family could read them. He persisted\u003cbr\u003e and finally I acquiesced . So, if you happen to be reading\u003cbr\u003e this book, I hope you find something that pleases you, \u003cbr\u003e or just makes you think, or makes you laugh. At least you\u003cbr\u003e will probably get an insight into how my mind works. If no\u003cbr\u003e one ever reads it and it gathers dust on some obscure shelf\u003cbr\u003e somewhere, or in a box of \"stuff you don't know what to do\u003cbr\u003e with\", that's okay. Maybe Mark will be pleased that I\u003cbr\u003e finally \"got-er-done\".\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Sometimes it is hard to express just how you feel\u003cbr\u003e about a circumstance or situation, but I found that if I\u003cbr\u003e spend some quite time in meditation and let peace fill my\u003cbr\u003e mind and heart, thoughts do come. Then, thoughts into\u003cbr\u003e words.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Most of the things I have written are touched by my\u003cbr\u003e faith in and love for my Lord, Jesus Christ. I only regret\u003cbr\u003e that I am not articulate enough to express my sincere\u003cbr\u003e thanks for His grace and mercy. But, how can anyone adequately\u003cbr\u003e magnify our God? He knows my deepest thoughts, \u003cbr\u003e and, thereby, knows my love for Him, but it would be wonderful\u003cbr\u003e to have the words to express it to another human being.\u003cbr\u003e If I could only touch a life and lead that life to Him, \u003cbr\u003e I would feel I had been of some service.
