Pit wuchs in geordneten Verhältnissen auf. Schon als Kind schrieb er emsig - und nach vielen Umwegen und etlichen Versuchen und Wegen landete er schließlich beim Radio als Moderator und Redakteur. Endlich etwas, das richtig Spaß macht - so Pits Einstellung dazu. Dann aber folgte eine lange schwere Krankheit - zehn Jahre später jedoch folgte sein erstes Buch! Seine Sporen verdiente er sich mit Kinderbüchern und Textbänden. Und Stück für Stück entstanden drei Sparten, die Pit auch heute noch bedient: Kinderliteratur, Lyrik und Fantasy. Mittlerweile veröffentlichte Pit -auch unter Pseudonymen- über hundert Werke. Jetzt ist eine neue Zeit angebrochen - und es kommen neue Bücher. Doch eines hat sich Pit immer bewahrt: die Liebe zum Wort, zu seinen Eltern und die ewige Neugierde auf das Leben.
