T.S. Eliot and the Romantic Poets (Hardbound-2022)

T.S. Eliot and The Romantic Poets has its purpose and message to develop in the readers and students intellectual and analytical criticism to reach the creative wisdom of the poet. It interprets Eliot’s poetry with criticism and tries to bring out the salient features of his poetic genius which bears the strength of carrying modern objectives along with classic orthodoxy of literature; while some of the famous Romantic poets in their overly leaning on chosen delicacy of silky objectives, less to reality of the coarser sides of life have failed to carry the reality to hold the truth of poetry intact. This element of masterpiece writing of poetry should be observed, studied, and understood by students and readers of English Literature.

Dr. Yeshodhara Gopala Rao is an internationally acclaimed poet. She is the recipient of International Awards for poetry and has been an invitee to the World Congress of Poets in Greece, Italy, and Korea. She was also invited to the United Poets Laureate International Congress held at Tennessee, U.S.A., in 1995. Many of her poems have been broadcasted on AIR, Bangalore. Her authored books include Brave Waves of Heaven on Earth, Blossoms of Light, The Reigning Rose, Slaves of Nature, Dear Life, and Songs of Rose, which have been translated into Greek and Kannada. Dear Life and Brave Waves of Heaven on Earth are recommended for all college libraries of Karnataka State by the Director of Collegiate Education, Karnataka. Her works are the recipient of encomiums by both intellectuals and educationists.
