It would be fair to say that there is really not much action in here, which may look surprising, considering that the story revolves around the world of school children who are away from their families. From the very beginning you are there as its integral part, breathing and counting every second, till the mystery reveals and then once again you are there to see the consequences. You are so engrossed in the story, in the characters and their conflicting emotions that you never miss the action.

It takes the most fantastic assumptions and has created life-like characters. Anushka, Aanya and Tanmay are so real that you experience their elation, their confusion, their frustration, their fear, in other words, their every emotion as you turn page after page.

Ranjeet Singh, M.A. English, has been lecturer in English at Adarsh Mahavidyalaya Nawabganj (M.J.P. Rohailkhand University) from 2004 to 2006. He was in the English Faculty at the British Lingua Lab, Lanka, BHU, Varanasi from 2008 to 2009. He also taught English at Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth, Meerut for some time and was Teacher of English in Sunbeam Group of Schools Bhagwanpur, Varanasi. Presently, he is Asstt. Professor of English at Arya Mahila P.G. College, Banaras Hindu University. He is also a Management graduate from Rohailkhand University. He has completed his research on “Plays of Karnad, Kambar and Shivprakash: A Study in Dalit Consciousness” and submitted his thesis at BHU.

He has contributed numerous articles in literary journals of repute. He has attended several seminars and presented papers in national and international conferences. He has actively participated in workshops conducted at college and university level.
