About the Author

Dr. Samjy Vadakkedom CMI, an ardent researcher of Indian ethos, is a scholar of Philosophy and Theology. His inquisitive spirit led him to research in English literature and simultaneously inspire others' interest in researching indigenous culture and decolonization. He accomplished Doctorate in Indian English novels and has published many scholarly articles on various topics, especially those reflecting Indian tint.

Carrying a catalyst approach, he ensures to cultivate the pan-Indian identity and motivates the millennials to upkeep their Indian roots and spirit of inclusivism. He pursued his bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology and post-graduation in Sociology. His contribution to literature stands through his four books on various topics related to psychology and religion. Born in Kerala, India, he later joined the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) congregation and in 2006 was consecrated to priesthood.
