The Editors Prof. R.K. Mishra, Senior Professor and Director, Institute of Public Enterprise. is a graduate of the International Management Programme, SDA Boccioni, Milan, Italy and has been a fellow of the British Council and Commonwealth Secretariat. He is a member of the UN Task Force on Standards of Excellence in Public Administration and Education and associated with the UNDP project on Macro Economics of Poverty Reduction carried out by the RBI Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Banking and Research. He has handled assignments for the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Trade and Commerce, Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises, and Ministry of Disinvestment. He has supervised doctoral research for several universities in management, economics, commerce and public administration. His current interests include economic reforms, privatization and restructuring, finance, poverty management and good governance.
Dr. Shulagna Sarkar, Assistant Professor, Institute of Public Enterprise, completed her Ph.D from RTMNU and MBA (HR) from KITS. Ramtek. She is also a law graduate. She is the convener for the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at the IPE. She has published a book in the area of training needs based on competency mapping. She is involved in teaching, research activities, training, and consultancy at the institute. Her areas of interest include corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. competency management. and training and development.
Ms. Punam Singh, Assistant Professor, Institute of Public Enterprise, is an MBA from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. She is currently pursuing her PhD from JNTU, Hyderabad in the area of compensation management. She is the Coordinator for the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at the IPE. She is involved in teaching, research activities, training, and consultancy at the institute. Her current interests include corporate social responsibility. compensation and performance management and training and development.
