Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. She has a specialisation on Black Women Writers. Her critical articles and papers have appeared in several reputed journals and other Indian publications. Her areas of interest are American Literature, African-American Literature, and Women’s Studies. Her published works include Women Writers in the Twentieth Century Literature (2000) and The Plays of Eugene O’Neill: A Critical Study (2001).
