Bayapa Reddy, formerly senior Professor of English at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh (India), with his books like The Plays of Asif Currimbhoy, Studies in Indian Writing in English, and The Indian Novel with a Social Purpose, has already won considerable reputation in Academia both in India and abroad. He has published widely in several scholarly journals like Ariel, Littcritt, and The Literary Criterion.
