About the Author :- Amar Singh Chohan, M.A. (History), Ph.D. (History), taught History to Postgraduate students at the P.G. Department of History, University of Jammu, Jammu Tawi. He was also involved in the Post-doctoral research. He is an expert on Dardistan and Ladakh regions. His previous books <i>The Gilgit Agency and Historical Study of Society and Culture in Dardistan and Ladakh are well received throughout the world.
