English Language Teaching (ELT) refers to the teaching of English language to students who have different first language/s. It can occur within the state school system, at a language institution or with a tutor. Dr. Shravan Kumar, Asstt. Professor at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, is a Personality Development trainer, Faculty Development trainer and facilitator. He has actively participated and presented papers in over 50 national and international seminars and conferences. His published books are: Technical Writing and Oral Communication, Poetry for BA Part I, and Fundamentals of Effective Communication. His six research papers have been published in international journals and eight research papers in national journals. He has established ELT@I chapter as a Chapter Head, i.e. ELT@I NCR-Greater Noida Chapter that bagged the Best Chapter Award-14 among 53 active chapters of India. He is managing editor and publisher of an online quarterly journal, The ELT Practitioner. He is National Joint Secretary of ELTAI.
Dr. Harleen Kaur, Assistant Professor in the Dept. of English at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology for Women, has 12 years of teaching experience. She has presented more than 35 research papers in national and international seminars, of which seven papers have been published in national research journals and four in international journals. She has organized many workshops as resource person and many conferences as Organizing Secretary. Her published books are: Technical Writing and Oral Communication and Fundamentals of Effective Communication. She is President of English Language Teachers Association of India, NCR-Greater Noida Chapter.
Dr. Savithri Swaminathan, Ph.D. (English) is currently working at Guru Nanak College, Chennai. She has also worked for the Delhi (Central) University and Tamil Nadu Open University in various capacities. She has widely travelled, having visited over 12 countries. She has designed 30 textbooks and published 4 articles. She has presented papers at 35 national and international conferences, received 4 professional awards and has been a member in a number professional bodies.
