The present book can justifiably claim to be the encyclopedia of English as an Academic Language (EAL). Kriti Gulati started her career as a teacher and has been a part of the education system in India since 2007. After completing the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), moderated and accredited by Cambridge Assessment English (UK), she joined the British Council in New Delhi as a Teacher Trainer and has trained more than 2500 college as well as school teachers in learner-centered pedagogy. Subsequently, in 2012, she completed her DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) from International House, Bangkok. She has written teacher training materials for The British Council, Oxford University Press, and Cambridge University Press; and conducted workshops for them too.
Ms. Gulati has attended several National and International conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has also presented some papers related to English language teaching and learning. She is currently teaching at Prometheus School, Noida, an IB/Cambridge school, after spending 5 years with Pathways School, Noida, as an Academic Language Coordinator.
