Born on 2nd April, 1959 in village Ghejan, District Jahanabad, Bihar, Dr. Ravindra Sharma obtained his M.A. (History) degree from Magadh University in 1983. He obtained the Ph.D. degree of Patna University, Patna in August, 1986. A young and energetic person, Dr. Sharma is teaching History in the Jahanabad College, Jahanabad. He is a known expert on Ancient History.
