Sue Hayden is a speech, language, and communication needs trainer with over 30 years' specialist teaching experience both in primary and secondary schools. Emma Jordan is a service manager and specialist speech and language therapist for the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service within Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. The authors wrote and delivered the original ‘Language for Learning’ training courses and materials, training mainstream school staff across Worcestershire and training trainers in other areas of the UK. Emma continues to manage the ‘Language for Learning’ project in Worcestershire.
