Dr. D. Murali Manohar, M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D., is Associate Professor, Department of English Literature, English Language Teaching, especially Phonetics of English, and Dalit Literature/Studies. He has ten books to his credit including Kamala Das: Treatment of Love in Her Poetry (1999); Indian Women’s fiction: A Study of Marriage, Career and Divorce (2007); Dalits and Religion (2009); Dalits and their Religion(s) (2010); Indian Women Novelists in English (2010); and Introduction to Linguistics and Phonetics (2011). Besides, he has contributed numerous articles in national and international literary journals of repute.
