In recent years there has been a lot of discussion on the issue of nuclear disarmament. In spite of great importance of the subject for world peace and national security, important documents on nuclear disarmament are not available at one place. The present book fulfills this gap. This will enable the experts and the common man to have better understanding of the ongoing debate on the subject. The present two Volumes include documents mainly on 2000 NPT Review Conference, Nuclear Tests of India and Pakistan, 1995 Review and Extension Conference and Safety Standards. The response to the first two Volumes of the book released last year was so encouraging that it has led to the publication of the present third and fourth Volumes. It is hoped that the Volumes would be of great value to the researchers and students of defence studies, parliamentarians, senior executives concerned with defence and the common readers.
