About The Book

Internet technology refers to the electronic world of many different computer networks which allows for effective communication and research. Various types of LAN and WAN maintenance equipments like digital voltmeter, time-domain reflectometer, advanced cable testers, protocol analyzers, network monitors, terminators, etc. are briefly described. LAN and WAN problems and their solutions are also explained. Internet explorer and outlook express are described in full detail. The book covers the networking fundamentals that are extremely useful to those who want to seek jobs in various IT companies as front and back office executives. The technicians, engineers and trainees, who are new to networking, can acquire applicable skills in network design and maintenance. About The Author

G.P. Sangia, is B.E. (Mechanical) from Jabalpur University, Jabalpur and Industrial Engineering graduate from Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), Mumbai. He has worked as Senior Manager in Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) and was associated with computer applications in Bhilai Steel Plant. He is also a consultant technologist and a writer. This book heavily draws upon his experience as a trainer and as a technologist. At present, he is faculty at Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Kohka, Bhilai.
