The present work critically studies one of the two aspects of Swami’s philosophy—the Idealistic philosophy. The approach in the study is original and fresh. The book is divided into eight chapters. Chapter I traces The Role of Swami Vivekananda in Indian Renaissance. Chapter II critically studies The Origin and Nature of the Universe, Chapter III Evolution, Chapter IV Brahman-God-Jiva, Chapter V The Doctrine of Maya, Chapter VI The Real and Apparent Man, Chapter VII The Doctrine of Rebirth, and Chapter VIII Immortality and Freedom. The book will be very useful not only to the research scholars and students of Indian philosophy but also to the general readers.
