La dramática narración de la desobediencia de los ángeles, la revelación de los misterios y secretos del cielo que no podían enseñar a los humanos, el nacimiento de los Nephilim o gigantes, los poderes secretos, los astros y sus misterios, los depósitos celestiales, los seres del cielo y sus virtudes, las visitas de Enoc al cielo a través de sus visiones, sueños y revelaciones.

El presente libro, contiene incluso un texto llamado: El fragmento del Libro de Noé. Con comentarios y anexos que hacen de este libro, un material único, valioso y muy interesante.

Es muy importante, tener en cuenta que en la Biblia algunas expresiones o textos de "El Libro de Enoc" son citados o referenciados, específicamente en la Epístola de Judas, versículos 6, 14-16; también en la Segunda Carta de Pedro 2:4.

Este libro es canónico para la Iglesia etíope ortodoxa; y aunque, el Libro de Enoc, no forma parte del Canon de la Biblia comúnmente aceptada, es un texto que nos proporciona mucha información que estaba en la mente y cultura judía de tiempos antiguos, en relación con diversos eventos bíblicos, sobre todo lo que sucedió antes del diluvio en tiempos de Noé.

Al considerar, la cantidad de referencias en el Nuevo Testamento al Libro de Enoc, tenemos que concluir que, tanto judíos como cristianos en los tiempos del Señor Jesús ya tenían conocimiento de este libro, y lo tenían en alta estima.
