Aline Schwibbe (b. Hamm 1988; lives and works in Berlin) studied both psychology and art and her interest lies in observing the cyclical nature of events and experiences-- in memory, in dreams and in the reality of the present. Her films and her photographic and mixed-media sequences often appear like fragments of occurrences snatched from the dark and exposed multiple times in an attempt to make them visible. The artist's first monograph is published on the occasion of her solo exhibition Now It' s Dark at the EIGEN+ART Lab Berlin. The book introduces Schwibbe's extensive multidisciplinary practice, which besides drawing, photography and video also includes sculpture, animation, sound installations, and textile projects.

Beate Scheder is a journalist and author who lives and works in Berlin. She is responsible for Berlin culture in the culture section of die Tageszeitung and prefers to write about art, music and fashion. Nadine Isabelle Henrich is a curator and researcher in the history of art, focusing on photography, media art, and synthetic media, based in Berlin. Her curatorial work examines the politics of visibility and imagination, focusing on photography and digital art practices, that subvert and transform normative and colonial narratives in contemporary art and beyond. Hans-Jö rg Clement (*1961) is Head of Culture at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and curator and managing director of the Else-Heiliger-Fonds EHF 2010 for the promotion of young artists.
