Thomas Waldherr M.A. ist gebürtiger Darmstädter, Jahrgang 1963, und beschäftigt sich auf seinem Blog www.cowboyband.blog ausführlich mit Bob Dylan und Americana. Zusammen mit Richard Limbert gibt er das historisch-kritische Dylan- und Americana Magazin www.keywestmagazin.com heraus. Er ist Redakteur von www.country.de und schreibt regelmäßig für den "Folker". Zur amerikanischen Populärmusik und ihren gesellschaftlichen Hintergründen hält er Vorträge und bietet Seminare bei verschiedenen Bildungseinrichtungen an. In Darmstadt kuratiert er seit 2014 eine Americana-Konzertreihe. Er ist Mitglied der Jury der Liederbestenliste der deutschsprachigen Musik.
