The journeys between paradoxes that await us in a greater sense of existence are resurrected in the volume you now hold. That "now" draws us into an intimate conversation with the self, with the existentiality of Being itself, which seeks answers in a world designed not to offer them easily - a world that indoctrinates at all costs. The Rogelian multiverse immerses us in the depths of a becoming shaped by legendary counterpositions, such as that of Heraclitus-Parmenides. Those quotation marks around the word "now," and these - which are not a repetition but a state of permanence - signal the state of flux that governs the Totality; for you are no longer the same person who read of paradoxes, existentiality, and elusive answers.Flaubert says that "poetry is the art of painting with words," and Octavio Paz, that "it is the language that speaks beyond language." Rogelio acknowledges both observations; but he also assumes a condition rarely found among poets - that of a poet who writes from the clandestinity in which he lives. And he tells us: do not confuse millennial counterpositions with muddled structures born of the disquiet of Being; do not confuse the poet's physical death with the one he suffered centuries ago; do not confuse the liberation of verse with the freedom of one who writes from his enslaved condition. Whether we wish it or not, we are already part of the blue multiverse whose candor liberates all fears and exiles anguish, we are that smokeless bonfire which indecisions alert, we are, Rogelio's Blue.• Author(s): Clear | James • Publisher: Penguin • Publisher Imprint: Penguin Random House • Subject: General Books
