About The Author

Dianne, Alicia: - Alicia Dianne is an award-winning animator, illustrator and graphic novelist based in Los Angeles, CA, known for her work in animation, children's books, and storytelling. Graduating with honors, attaining her BFA in Traditional Animation from the School of Visual Arts and holding an MA in Illustration from California State University, Northridge, her art has been featured in exhibitions nationwide. Alicia released Jaydi's Story: In the Beginning, her debut graphic novel, in 2021, with the highly anticipated sequel, Prudence, arriving in 2025. Beyond her creative projects, she leads artist workshops and has taught art and career skills to children and young adults in the Los Angeles area over the last 8 years, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of talent.
