Thangvunga has made significant contribution to the teaching of Mizo literature and his expertise is considered indispensable to the theoretical and critical study of Mizo literature. His translation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in Mizo is presently one of the texts for Mizo Honours in B.A.
