About The Author

Jordan, January: - January Jordan believes that magic, love, and a sprinkle of fart jokes make life worth living and books worth reading. Since she was a tiny tot, she has been an avid reader. Jan attributes her obsession with children's books to the first book she truly loved, A Wrinkle in Time. She currently works as a School Librarian in Maryland, where she can share her passion with the future generation of book nerds! January and her husband are raising two book-loving children, two feisty cats, and one insane dog at home. Sad-squatch is her very first book, and she is thrilled that she got to write it with her sister Lindsey-Boo!

Skyba, Maryna: - Maryna jumped down the rabbit hole called "children's book illustration" at about 30 years old. It was completely new and unknown and was a real adventure for her. As an illustrator, Maryna Skyba sees the world through pictures. She painted all through her childhood and finished University as an interior designer. She found her passion for illustrations only after working as a painting teacher for kids.

Stansfield, Lindsey: - Lindsey Stansfield was born with secret creative powers in the palm of her hands. Everything she touches grows and blooms. Just ask the thousands of plants that fill her beautiful New Jersey home. As the director of marketing and communications for a propane company, Lindsey inspires her peers to find joy in the journey and enjoy having gas. Lindsey and her husband stay busy taking care of her two hilarious children, four dogs, and 1 MILLION fish.
