Sophia Wannabee is a sweet, whimsical little honeybee who is confused about where she belongs in the busy, hardworking world of honeybees. Like many children in today's world, Sophia compares herself to others and desires to be anyone but who she was meant to be. This, of course, makes her very unhappy. If that weren't enough, Sophia, the promising winner of the 2nd grade annual spelling bee, gets knocked down to 2nd place by Sally Sweet Bee who spells "belonged" correctly. It isn't until all of the other honeybees become sickened with a rare form of hives that Sophia finally discovers who she was always meant to be. Young readers will follow Sophia as she transforms her life from a very unhappy honeybee to a bee that feels validation and love just by being herself.

Einer, Terri: - Terri Einer is an acrylic artist known for her whimsical characters that pop with personality and her bold use of color. Terri says, "It tickles me to no end when someone sees my art for the first time and a big grin spreads across their face." Born with a natural artistic talent, Terri has been creating for most of her life. She has been spreading her joyous works to clients throughout the United States. "I love bringing the author's words to life and to see the published results." Martin, Kristen: - Kristen Martin is a devoted Badger mom who lives in a cozy central Wisconsin town with her hardworking and loving husband, Paul. She has three grown children, Billy, Emma, and Alec, who are the joys of her life. When her children were young, Kristen spent most of her days at their schools assisting teachers with oodles of fun projects. Eventually, her children grew up...and so did Kristen! Before long, she went to work in a retirement community where she noticed something very interesting. No matter what age, children to grandparents, there seems to be a common thread in all of us. From the day we start pre-school until we enter our retirement years, we all have the need to be loved and feel like we belong. Out of this was born Kristen's first children's book, and she hopes to continue new adventures in the future with Sophia Wannabee.
