This devotional was created by Shellie McCary and Lexie Bristol, two women who love to serve God and others. They brought together a group of 40 women from all walks of life to help create this 40-day devotional. This devotional is an extension of Hearts Aligning, a journey in walking through life with others, and an exploration of how God aligns our hearts for a greater purpose. These words of inspiration, as well as God's promises, remind us of who we are and of how He has created each and every one of us for His will. These words are the blessing and promise of our Father.

Bristol, Alexandra: - Alexandra Bristol is a dancer, choreographer, director, and proud auntie. Bristol currently works as a dance manager for Jacksonville Country Day School in North Florida. She also serves as the artistic director for Three Hearts Dance, a contemporary dance organization with a vision for unleashing freedom for women to live bold lives of optimism, artistry, and love. Three Hearts Dance is in their fifth season of bringing storytelling experiences to Northeast Florida and looks forward to growing in the communities where God plants them. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys working alongside other women driven to share the love of Jesus, which is what brought her to Hearts Aligning. She looks forward to watching her two nieces grow into the women God has created them to be!
McCary, Shellie: - Shellie McCary is an author based in North Florida. Standing strong on her faith and her relationship with God, she was able to release her first book, Hearts Aligning, in 2018 with hopes to inspire and encourage others to step out into the calling and life God has planned for them. It is her heart and vision to see others step up and out, embracing their God-given abilities and passions to help make a change in this world. Shellie is blessed to have a partner in Alexandra Bristol, artistic director of Three Hearts Dance, on this devotional debut. God aligned these two ladies to help make a greater impact for the body of Christ while encouraging and empowering others to step out and follow God's calling in their lives. Shellie and her husband, Bryan, have four sons: Nick, who is an active-duty Marine; Tomas, who is in his senior year at Bryant University, playing football while earning a degree in human resources; and Colin and Trenton, who are in high school and also play football. When she is not writing, Shellie is serving on committees for local and global initiatives in community outreach, missions, and animal rescue.
