Entramos en una Iglesia que nos precede. Entramos en una Iglesia -una comunidad de creyentes llenos de fe- que Dios nos ha dado. Nuestra participación en la comunidad que llamamos Iglesia es realizada y activada por nosotros como individuos. La religión es tanto corporativa como individual. Somos patrocinados en ella. Dios es NUESTRO Padre, no sólo mi Padre.

Participar en la vida de la Iglesia requiere que lo hagamos reflexiva e intencionadamente, no sin pensar o de forma meramente pasiva. Sin duda, la Iglesia actúa para nosotros y sobre nosotros, pero sólo lo hace por nuestra elección libre e intencionada.

La oración es nuestra invitación a pedir al Espíritu Santo que actúe sobre nosotros y actúe dentro de nosotros. La inspiración - "in-spirit-ization"- es el resultado. Orar apaga el ruido de este mundo que nos ensordece. La oración despeja el desorden de este mundo para que podamos escuchar los susurros silenciosos del Espíritu Santo que canta su canción de amor a nuestras almas. Rezar nos "espiritiza". Nos sensibiliza y nos permite estar a disposición de Dios.

A veces se pregunta a los directores y guías espirituales: " Qué debo hacer cuando rezo?". La respuesta: simplemente ponte a disposición de Dios. Dale a Dios tus ojos para ver y tus oídos para oír. Reflexiona. La reflexión es la clave de todo. Se trata de dejar que Dios te lleve de la mano para que Él te muestre las cosas.
