How to Read the Bible at the End Point: For Beginners 9. Manna on the Sixth Day Using the format of daily devotion, the author has tried to provide a short and simple reflection each day on the Day of the Lord, the so-called End of the World. This has been a topic that has attracted much attention for almost two thousand years. Saddly, it is also an issue that has confused many as well. The critical point seems to be how one looks at the Millenial Kingdom that is prophesied by the Bible. Based the triunity of the Bible - integrity, invariance, and inerrancy of the Old and New Testaments in their original languages, the author has obtained two keys (not one key as in the traditional interpretations) to the issue. These two keys, Pre-Millennial and Amillennial interpretations of the Lord's coming, have to be used in a concerted and supplemental way before a correct and objective conclusion can be reached. In short, by His approaching Second Coming, the Lord Jesus will accomplish two things at the same time: (1) to fulfill the First Resurrection of mankind so that saints of the Lord, dead or alive, will be first brought into eternity to be with the Lord, and (2) to fulfill the prophecy of the Millennial Kingdom so that all believers of the Lord preserved alive through the Great Tribulation will enter and dwell until God proclaims the completion of His redemtion plan at the Second Resurrection and White Throne Judgment. In fact, the answers to questions such as at what hour Jesus will come and what day is the End of the World are not that important anymore. The important questions are: What must happen before and at the endpoint? Where are you going to end up after the Lord comes back? Are you going to be with God, or are you going to be cast into the Lake of Fire? This book provides alternative perspectives for you to reach the final and correct answers to all these questions.
