These men did not only read the holy scriptures, but were there to hear the Apostles preach, interact with them and ask questions, giving them a deep understanding of the genuine doctrine of Christ. The writings of these first Christians have been highly esteemed throughout the centuries and continue to offer insight & inspiration for Christians today.
