A.A. Rane completed his M.Sc. (Agril. Economics) with Gold Medal from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi in 1973. He obtained Ph.D. (Economics) degree from the University of Pune in 1993. He has over 32 years experience as Professor of Economics, Researcher in Economics, Extension Worker and Policy Adviser. He has authored three books and more than 100 articles. Presently, he is working as a Professor at the Department of Economics, Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Maharashtra. He is life member of Indian Society of Agricultural Economics, Mumbai and Agricultural Economics Research Association (India). He worked as a Production Economist at Agricultural Research Station, Karjat for nine years and as Senior Economist at Regional Fruit Research Station, Vengurle for eight years. A.C. Deorukhkar, M.Sc. (Agril. Economics) with Gold Medal from Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, completed his Ph.D. (Agril. Economics) in 2002. He is the recipient of ICAR, New Delhi junior fellowship for his postgraduation. Recently, he has been awarded a prestigious ‘Bharat Jyoti Award’ by India International Friendship Society, New Delhi for his outstanding work in Agricultural Economics. He has to his credit more than 25 research articles and 10 project reports. He has worked as Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics. Presently, he is working as a Deputy Director of Research (Agril. Economics) at Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli (Maharashtra).
