About The Book

Delinquents: Dead-End Kids of the 70's, is a story about two sets of brothers, the Hoopers and the Ryan's. George and I and Jimmy and Frank Ryan, four friends who group up together in South Florida. We were like the four horsemen as where one was usually you could find all four of us. We were very inseparable except for the times when we were quarreling or fighting amongst ourselves. Then generally it would be Jimmy and I against George and Frank the older siblings against the younger ones. With occasionally one sibling pitted against the other, which was usually George and I against each other. Oh, forgive me allow me to introduce myself I am Mark Hooper, George's older brother, and the eldest of the four of us. This is roughly a 64,500-word book that tells the story of four teenagers coming of age in the 1970's. Follow along on their epic journey of mischief, mayhem, chaos and trouble. Read about the true story of all their boyhood adventures. Including getting lost in the Florida Everglades, being kicked out of the Florida Keys, Illegal Street Races, criminal activities, bar room brawls, fights with others, fighting each other as well as fighting the law. About The Author

It's hard to write about myself, as I never like blowing my own horn. So I will try to make this short and sweet.

My name is Mark Hooper. I am just a blue-collar working man. I have worked in several different fields. From all types of construction, home inspections, driving trucks of all sizes from straight trucks to tractor trailers, moving furniture to running a small business. Basically whatever it took to make a buck.

I am currently working as a Field Implementation Supervisors for one of the largest mobile billboard companies in the nation.

Now I can add author to the list. This is my third book, with my first being "Crypto investing for beginners," my second book was "A Man Called King: and his not so royal family" all which are now available wherever books are sold.

I am married to my wonderful wife Terri, together we have four awesome kids, Greg, Kim, Mark, and Ryan and two spectacular grandchildren, Angelina, and Mark the 3rd. We also have two amazing daughters-in-law, Christina and Effie.
