About The Book

Central to my healing was the realization of the power of choice. By consciously deciding to change my life, I unlocked the door to freedom from harmful behaviors that had long held me captive. Just as Adam's choices reverberated beyond his own life, our decisions can significantly impact those around us.

Through my story, I illustrate how I achieved enduring emotional freedom and learned to make healthier choices. My hope is that sharing my experience will encourage others to embark on their own healing journeys. If my words resonate with even one individual, then the purpose of this book will be fulfilled. Deliverance of a Wounded Heart serves as a beacon of hope for anyone seeking to break free from the burdens of their past and embrace a future filled with promise and possibility.

About The Author

Leavitt, Alice: - Alice Leavitt was born in Barstow, California, in 1943 and moved to Beaverton, Oregon, in 1952, returning to Barstow in 1963. She married, had two children, and relocated to Las Vegas in the late 1970s. After a divorce in 1990, she remarried in 1995 and moved to rural north Idaho, where she lived for 22 years before moving to North Texas in 2018. Alice has a background in computer consulting and worked as a line locator and inspector for the Water District. She currently resides in Texas with her cat, Maggie, following the passing of her husband in 2023.
