La Pierre et le Faucon est le roman de Pierre de Peyremale, fr�re servant de la commanderie de Jal�s, fils de petite noblesse du dioc�se d'Uz�s, personnage historique attest� dans les actes du proc�s des Templiers de 1307. C'est aussi le roman de Brian de Jay, ma�tre des Templiers d'�cosse, homme de conviction et de violence, qui lui a confi� cette sacoche � Nicosie en 1292 avec une instruction insuffisante et une confiance absolue. Et c'est le roman de William Wallace, gardien d'un royaume dont les murs allaient tomber comme ceux d'Acre avaient tomb�, et qui savait depuis toujours pourquoi il tenait ce qu'il tenait.
