Bishop, Pamela: - Shireen V. Singer, MSW, RSW, SEP, is a clinical therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in private practice with offices in Chester and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Shireen is a graduate of Dalhousie University School of Social Work, Halifax, Nova Scotia. She completed post graduate studies in the United States and more recently received training in Somatic Experiencing. Shireen has been practicing clinical social work for over forty years. Most of her career has been in the field of trauma, working with children, youth, and adults in health, criminal justice, education, and community services. Shireen has presented at provincial, national, and international conferences. She has also participated in national and provincial documentaries on gender-based violence.

Shireen currently resides in Chester, Nova Scotia. She enjoys spending quality time with her two sons, a daughter by marriage, sisters, brothers by marriage, nieces, and nephews. Shireen is active in her faith community and in her leisure, enjoys singing, travelling, beaches, historical architecture, reading great books, watching period movies, and so much more.

Pamela Bishop, is a daughter, niece, wife, friend, and mum to Charlie and a little diva-dog named Prancy-Nancy. She spends her workdays as a project manager in the IT sector. When not cheering Charlie on at his various sporting events, she can be found gardening or playing outside, whether it is biking, hiking, or playing tennis.

Pam has been journaling since she received a Holly Hobbie diary with a tiny lock and key at the age of nine. Since then, writing has been part therapy, part hobby, and a constant source of reflection and meditation and a way to refill her bucket.
