Moser, Jim: - Jim Moser is an award-winning historian and filmmaker dedicated to preserving the queer experience. He directed the documentary Finding Refuge, Demanding Equality: A Century of LGBTQ+ Lynn and served as Project Director for Through a Rainbow Lens: A Reflection on Lynn's LGBTQ+ History. This groundbreaking archive, which curates 35 oral histories and over a thousand images of local queer life, was honored with the 2025 Albert B. Corey Award from the American Association for State and Local History.Prior to his work in public history, Jim was a User Interface Designer. He originally arrived in Massachusetts on a National Science Foundation fellowship to MIT, where he earned an M.S. in Perception and Brain Science. He currently lives in Lynn with his husband, Billy, two cats, and a backyard full of flowers.
