T.R.A.P.(Two Revolutions and a Policeman offers a rare nonpartisan and candid look at the political upheavals in Grenada, particularly, the ideological warfare, political purges, and behind-the-scenes struggles of the revolutions that shaped the fate of the nation and infinitely influenced Caribbean politics. Although much is said about the politics of Grenada and in particular, the intense conflicts in the 1970s and 80s, this book is not an account of the rivalry between Gairy and Bishop's New Jewel Movement (NJM), the two main protagonists nor of the making and death of two revolutions. Instead, it speaks of my life and experiences within these events.

Caught between loyalty to duty and the chaos of at least two revolutions, the author was a lone policeman who witnessed the dramatic collapse of two govemments in the small but politically charged island of Grenada TRA.P. (Two Revolutions and a Policeman) is an unflinching memoir that takes readers deep into the heart of Grenada's most turbulent years- the rise and rule of Eric Gairy, the overthrow by the New Jewel Movement and the subsequent downfall of the revolution itself. With personal experiences interwoven with historical analysis, it sheds light on the true cost of revolution-one that left no citizen un- touched.
