Amazon's best-selling author Cindy Cherry is back with more stories about one of Canada's most controversial and opinionated figures, covering hockey, politics, and much more. As the daughter of Don Cherry, Cindy saw and experienced it all. Now it's her time to share those stories with you.

Cindy writes about the family's dynamics, about how Don managed to balance being a father, husband, and coach all at once. She covers his coaching days, the team hierarchy, who his favourite players were (and why), and, of course, the parties.

Did you know Don Cherry is the self-proclaimed worst car salesman ever? Don wouldn't be the man he is today without Rose, a mother, a wife, and the glue that held the family together through tough times. Cindy shares her mother's journey and the four phases she went through as Don's career evolved.

And for those of you who may not agree with Don Cherry, this book dives into what made him the way he is, and it just might change your mind.

A portion of the sales from this book will support Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation

Cherry, Cindy: - Cindy Cherry was born March 29th 1957, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Being born into the hockey world gives Cindy a very rare perspective. Being Don Cherry's daughter on top of that makes her perspective all the more interesting. Her love for animals brought on careers as a vet tech, zookeeper, racetrack groomer, and pet store manager. She owned Canada's first mobile dog- grooming service, and being an animal-welfare activist prompted her to start Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation, which benefits from the sale of this book.Much like her dad, charity work is something close to her heart. Sheestablished a facility in honour of her late mother that administers palliative and respite care to chronically ill children, and worked for the Kidney Foundation of Canada as a fund development and marketing associate. Being a living donor herself (1978 kidney donation to her brother), she aimed to bring awareness to the importance of organ donation.Cindy hopes you enjoy the stories and life lessons that are shared within this book.
